FAQ

Where is the Search for an Athlete tool?

Simply type a swimmer’s lastname into the Search bar and it will retrieve a Swimmer Page for any registered competitive swimmer in Canada. These pages will be created when a swimmer competes in their first meet, and can be enriched for national team athletes with photography, biographical information and more.

Where is the Search for a CLUB tool?

The tool for searching athlete rankings based on the club name has been removed temporarily. We are working on a solution to better implement such a feature on the Swimming Canada website. You can still use the same feature on the swimrankings.net website at http://www.swimrankings.net/index.php?page=clubSelect

HOW Do I Download Meet Entries and submit them?

On the old version of the Swimming Canada website this option was listed in the table of the meets. In order to make our website more mobile friendly, we have moved this feature inside of the meet information page. Once in the meet information page, you will see buttons on the top right of the title bar for “MEET EVENT FILE” and “MEET ENTRIES”.

what happened to the registration login page?

The link that resided under Clubs > Registration has been moved to more accessible spot on the new website. On the desktop view, it is located on the bottom of the page in the “Footer” area, under the “Registration” link. On the mobile view it is located on the slide out menu. You can also access the login page directly at http://registration.swimming.ca. Please note that all updates about the registration site are now posted at https://www.swimming.ca/registration/

What happened to My.Swimming.ca?

This system has been phased out for various reasons. Please use the registration system at http://registration.swimming.ca to take advantage of some of the features that My.Swimming.ca provided.

What if I can’t find something?

Most relevant content from the old swimming.ca has been carried over to the new site and/or updated. If you can’t find something, your best bet is to look through the Resources section or try the Search tool. If all else fails, http://old.swimming.ca will remain active during the transition period, and feel free to contact us at [email protected]

I have an idea to improve the website or have noticed a bug, who do I contact?

Many of the improvements on the new site were based on feedback we’ve received, and our website will continue to grow and evolve. Please help us make it better by sharing your thoughts and comments with [email protected]. Every legitimate suggestion will enter you into a draw to win a piece of Swimming Canada memorabilia – we will be giving away one piece per month until the end of 2015.
