To apply for certification, candidates must submit all of the following information to Kyla Meyers (kylaM@lifesaving.org) at the Lifesaving Society National Office:

- Email address
- Date of evaluation
The Lifesaving Society National Office submits a list of qualified Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor and Lifesaving Instructor candidates on a monthly basis to the NCCP Coordinator, Swimming Canada.
Each month, a Locker profile will be created for the candidates, which will provide them with a NCCP# (the candidates will be sent an email from the Locker to verify their account).
The training and evaluation for each of the candidates will be entered in their profile by the NCCP Coordinator, Swimming Canada.
In order for candidates to become fully certified as Swimming Teachers in the NCCP, they will need to complete the online Making Ethical Decisions evaluation. This can be accessed while they are logged in to their Locker profile. More information can be found at the following link: http://coach.ca/make-ethical-decisions-med–s16834&language=en
