Alec’s Bio

  • At the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games, Page earned himself a bronze medal in the 200-m butterfly as well as a second bronze medal in the 4×200-m freestyle with teammates Jeremy Bagshaw, Ryan Cochrane and Stefan Milosevic.
  • In Toronto, Page finished ninth in the 200-m freestyle and fifth in the 400-m medley.
  • Earned the berth with a victory in the 200-m butterfly in a personal best time at Team Canada Trials and also met the qualifying standards in the 200-m freestyle and 400-m individual medley.
  • At the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia, Page finished fourth in the 400 IM.
  • At the FINA World Swimming Championships in Barcelona he was 13th in the 400 IM and helped improve Canada’s international ranking in the 4×200 freestyle relay to 12th.
  • Page competed at the 2013 FINA World Cup stops in Berlin and Eindhoven, Netherlands, reaching finals in the 400-m IM at both events.
  • In 2012 the 18-year-old Page became the youngest male member of Canada’s Olympic swim team when he won the 400-m individual medley at the Olympic Trials in Montreal.
  • In London Page finished 23rd in the 400 IM and contributed to Canada’s 14th-place 4×200 freestyle relay.
