Gwangju 2019 FINA World Championships———

Raben’s Bio

  • At the Gwangju 2019 FINA World Championships, Dommann finished 16th in the 5-km open water race.
  • At the 2019 Canadian Open Water Swimming Trials, Dommann finished fourth in the 10-km open water race to qualify for the 2019 FINA World Championships, his first senior national team.
  • At the 2018 FINA World Junior Open Water Championships, Dommann finished 13th in the 7.5-km race.
  • At the 2018 Canadian Swimming Trials in Edmonton, Dommann captured bronze in the 1,500-m freestyle.
  • At the 2018 Best Fest Open Water Swim Festival, Dommann won gold in the junior-aged 1.5-km and earned bronze in the 5-km race.
  • At the 2017 UANA Open Water Championships, Dommann won gold as a member of the Junior 2.5-km relay team. Individually, he captured silver in the junior 2.5-km and 5-km open water race.
  • At the 2017 Canada Summer Games, Dommann won gold in the 400-m, 800-m and 1,500-m freestyle. He was also the flagbearer for Team B.C.
