  • At the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Stokes finished 17th in the 200-m backstroke.
  • Stokes won gold in the 200-m backstroke at the 2022 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials. Stokes qualified for the 2022 FINA World Championships with this performance.
