The coaches and staff have created an environment that empowers the swimmers with opportunities for growth through a culture of accountability, responsibility and self-reliance that leads to reliability of performance at the world level.

WORLD-CLASS RESULTS

Since opening in 1998 the HPC-Vancouver has collected 95 international medals for Canada at the following competitions:

• Olympic Games
• World Championships
• Commonwealth Games
• Pan American Games
• Pan Pacific Championships

WORLD-CLASS COACHING STAFF

The coaching staff has decades worth of experience in producing world-class swimming results. With the support of the IST, the coaches develop specific plans and individualized training programs for the athletes who train with the HPC. There is a low athlete to coach ratio, which is ideal for optimal performance.

WORLD-CLASS FACILITIES

Pool
HPC-Vancouver has use of an 10-lane 50m pool for 9 pool sessions (18 hours of pool time) a week.

Strength and Conditioning
Between activation, dryland training, weights and spin class, a total of 7.5 hours is spent on strength and conditioning each week.
