WORLD-CLASS COACHING STAFF
The coaching staff has decades worth of experience in producing world-class swimming results. With the support of the IST, the coaches develop specific plans and individualized training programs for the athletes who train with the HPC. There is a low athlete to coach ratio, which is ideal for optimal performance.
HPC-Vancouver has use of an 8-lane 50m pool for 9 pool sessions (18 hours of pool time) a week. A new aquatic centre is planned to open in June 2016 and will include a 10-lane, 50m pool.
Strength and Conditioning
Between activation, dryland training, weights and spin class, a total of 7.5 hours is spent on strength and conditioning each week.
