Katie ’s Bio

• At her first Para Swimming World Championships, Cosgriffe contributed to setting a Canadian record in the mixed 4×100-metre medley relay event with a time of 4:42.32.
• Individually, she finished fourth in the 100-metre butterfly, and fifth in the 100-metre backstroke S10.
• At the 2023 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials in Toronto, Cosgriffe earned one multi-class medal of each coulour, including gold in the women’s 100-m butterfly, silver in 100 backstroke and bronze in 200 individual medley. She set a Canadian S10 record of 1:08.68 in the 100 fly, while also placing in the top 5 in the 50, 100 and 400 freestyle multi-class finals (5^th / 5^th / 4^th).
• Thanks to her performance, she was named to her first career World Para Swimming Championships team ahead of Manchester 2023.
• In 2022-2023, Cosgriffe was one of seven Victor Davis Memorial Fund Award recipients.
