Gwangju 2019 FINA World Championships———

Chantel’s Bio

  • At the Gwangju 2019 FINA World Championships, Jeffrey was a member of the mixed 5-km relay that finished 13th. Individually, Jeffrey finished 28th and 45th in the 5-km and 10-km open water race.
  • At the 2019 Canadian Open Water Swimming Trials, Jeffrey finished second in the 10-km race to qualify for the 2019 FINA World Championships, her first senior national team.
  • Jeffrey won gold in the senior women’s 1.5-km, 5-km and 10-km race at the 2019 Best Fest Open Water Swim Festival. She was awarded the top female prize in the Elite Senior category.
  • At the 2018 Canadian Junior Championships, Jeffrey won gold in the women’s 15-17 3-km open water race.
  • At the 2017 UANA Open Water Championships, Jeffrey won gold in the junior 2.5-km and bronze in the junior 5-km open water race.
